Here Are Some Answers To Prepare You For Your TripHow many people can be in my charter experience?
The Kona Fishing Charters can accommodate 1-6 guests. The price is the same regardless of number of guests. Charters are exclusive not shared.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Is this catch and release only?
We encourage catch and release of any Billfish. However, it’s up to the customer.
Is taxidermy an option?
We can recommend taxidermists if our guests want the fish mounted.
what kind of fish can i take home with me?
We will filet Tuna (AHI or Yellowfin Tuna), Wahoo (Ono) and Mahi Mahi for guests to take and eat.
Is food or water provided?
We do not provide lunch. We encourage guests to bring their own food. We do provide bottled water, coffee and light snacks
Is this a family friendly experience?
Families are encouraged on the outing. Our seas are generally calm and make for a great family experience.
Is there shade or restrooms available on board?
Yes we have restrooms on each boat as well as air conditioned salons. In addition we have covered seating areas on the bridge.
Can i approach the crew with questions?
We encourage interaction between the guests and crew.
Are children allowed on board?
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
Should i bring my camera?
Picture taking is encouraged as well as video. We support Facebook and Twitter. We also encourage email interaction if the guest is agreeable.
Can i book a charter for my business?
We will work with corporate clients for advance bookings as well as a custom tailored experience.
